We supply fur skins to several industries and hobbies for manufacture.  Automotive, high fashion, snow ski, medieval lifestyle…  Colour washing to produce dyed skins of your choice is also an option. This page shows what we start with when a made-to-order item is created.

MINK

Sizes & colours, male & female.  The most popular colour being ‘dark ranch’ shown to the right in detail. Other colours shown are ‘demi buff’ , ‘pearl’, & ‘sapphire’. Natural colours, both popular and rare can be sourced.  Mink is known for its desirable appearance and its hardiness for wearing.  Mink can be dyed also to a colour of your choice.

FOX

Imported fox is one of the most plush of all furs.

We stock and source large & small sizes from 70cm to 130cm long of most colour breeds.  Silver fox to the far right, silver frost fox to the right being 2 popular examples. Many colours are available, natural & washed. Dyed colours are supplied upon request.

 

RABBIT

Economical and practical rabbit in plenty of natural colours and can be dyed to a myriad of other colours.  The natural rabbit hair is long, silky and usually lays quite flat with the grain.  Sheared rabbit is available which is taken down to a 9mm length. This takes the fine point off the guard hairs and leaves it blunt and velvety.

Fur furnishings can add that glamour and  call of the wild into your home.  Adding some into the bedroom as cushions or chair throws brings an earthy naturist feel.  This sample is pony over an ottoman with 2 cushions for dimension.

We also make cushions in many skins and various colours of them.  Please call to ask if we have or can get the colour or fur look you want.

We repair floor rugs or bedspreads of various skins, many we’ve seen are alpaca, llama, coyote, fox, mink, possum and rabbit.  They can have the tears sewn up very gently and reinforced, then an entire backing adhered to the skin side before closing up, usually with a fresh layer of new calico .
